The working of our body keep us warm even in winter. But for that body ask for more food that is we feels hungry. Due to that many people gains a weight. now the question arise what and how to eat in winter so that we don't gain a weight.

Raw garlic,Turmeric and ginger :- In winter these three root needs to be eat. These roots are very rich in Vitamins,Minerals and also keeps your body warm. It also increase metabolism .Garlic can also be eaten as sauce and turmeric as pickle.
Fat Grain:-- During winters millets,corns ,rye,oats should be taken. You can take it as a food so that it will lack the use of wheat which will control your weight and due to there warm nature it will keep you warm.
Til seeds ,peanuts and jaggery:--These can be eaten together or seperatly. They are not even warm but also rich in iron which is important for our body. In winters our body get so dry. Taking peanuts and jaggery daily will keep your body warm and moistured . During winters even in things like tea and desserts in place of sugar, jaggery should be used.
Green leafy vegetables:-- green vegies like Fenugreek, shepherd, mustard etc should be taken in winters. These ar rich in Vitamins like A,B,E,K Follic acid, iron ,potassium, and calcium types of mineral. One time in a day wheather in lunch or dinner. These are good for controling weight and fight with cuff which is a basic problem in winter.
Green salad--: In winters vegetables like carrot, tomato,cucumber, white radish green onion are easily available in winter. These have to be in both the meal added in dinner as well as lunch. Green salad will not only help in providing you all types of vitamins and minerals but it will also help in improving your digestion and increasing your metabolism which at last help you in controlling wieght.

Diet plan for winter
Morning 6-7 ----: Cup of green tea or Tulsi tea ( Ocimum tenuiflorum) cinnamon tea is also good.
Breakfast :--- jowar daliya one bowl or can also make a daliya mixing different grains. (For variety can take little of your favorite food)
Brunch---: One or two guava or any seasonal fruit. Don't drink water after guava  .
Lunch---: One or two.
